About Seniority Status' Fun in the Afternoon

Fun in the Afternoon (FIA) is the signature initiative of Seniority Status, Helping Elevate You, Sister Inc.'s (HEY, Sister) program dedicated to revitalizing and sustaining seniors.

Held every second and fourth Monday, Fun in the Afternoon brings together approximately 100 to 150 seniors for an afternoon of:

• Fellowship

• Live entertainment

• Dancing

• Educational presentations

• Valuable community resources

• Games and prizes

• Delicious meals

• Laughter

• Lasting friendships
   

More than a luncheon, Fun in the Afternoon is a place where seniors come alive. It is where friendships are formed, milestones are celebrated, resources are shared, and community is strengthened.
 

It is within this vibrant and welcoming environment that the relationships celebrated during the Lunch of Legends have grown and flourished.
 

Our FIA 90+ VIP Club Honorees were not selected simply because they reached the ages of 90 through 101. They were selected because they continue to participate, encourage others, inspire those around them, and demonstrate that life remains joyful, meaningful, and worth celebrating at every age.
